Here are some pictures from Robert Hudson, Victor Hugo and Clint Burbridge's recent trip to Italy. We were in Verona for the final TT of the 2010 Giro d'Italia. All pix were taken by Robert and Victor.
Ivan Basso in the winner's pink kit, rounding a corner under one of the city gates. He ended winning the Giro - for the second time.
Gilberto Simoni, two time winner of the Giro. This was his last Giro.
Italian road race champion, Fillipo Pozzato warming up.
Cadel Evans on the right. 2010 World Road Race champion, and big time favorite of all the Aussies we were travelling with.
Misty Burbridge posing with Alexander Vinokourov right after he completed his TT run.
Aside from watching cycling in Verona, we also rode in Balzano (in the Dolomites /Alps), and Tuscany (in and around Sienna).
Clint and Robert standing next to the L'Eroica sign on the Strada Bianchi. L'Eroica is a famous bike race on vintage bikes every year through-out Tuscany.
The crew on top of the Passo Mendola. It's hot in the valley and very cool on top.

Our hardest day was the Climb to Passo Sella. It was 8 hours of unrelenting inclines and death defying descents. The pass was covered in snow with 6 ft snow banks.
