Optional 8:30 AM Mountain Bike ride at Hanna
Park on Saturday, Sunday & Monday, Due to the COLD weather forecast at the
8:00 Ride Time. Saturday’s temperatures forecast to be 38F with 15 mph WNW wind
that will feel like 30 F but Sunny skies. On Sunday more of the same 40 F which
will feel like 36 F with 6 mph NW wind and Sunny. On Monday the forecast is
Sunny at 50 F with 4 SSW winds that will feel like 50 F.
For those that are Road Riding the Saturday
start time is 8:00 AM. On Sunday and Monday the start time is 9:00 AM.
There are no scheduled rides on Tuesday –
Christmas Day.
There is a Fix Gear Time Trial this Saturday morning leaving from Mickler’s at 7:30 AM.
They will be riding North on PVB to the Cabana Club and returning South on PVB.
The Saturday 8:00 Road Ride, Please watch out for the race going south and not
impede their Time Trail.

No RIDE -Tuesday Night Guana – 6:00 PM – Meet under Palm Valley 210 Bridge
We are riding
a variety of bikes: mountain, urban assault and cyclocross bikes.
Lights are required. This is an out and back 20+
miles course, so if you get dropped, you will be picked back up on the faster
group’s return.
No RIDE on Tuesday at 6:30 or 9:00 AM!!
Thursday 6:30 AM morning rides from the PV Inn & Club. Continue to check this BFSC Blog and Facebook page for time
changes as sunrise continues to be later rising.
Thursday 9:00 AM morning ride leaving from the Lodge: This is a group ride with a ride
pace of 19/24 MPH. There are 2 routes – Tuesday is Nocatee loops and Thursday
is down A1A to Vilano Bridge and back. Both routes are approximately 50 miles.
Twilight Begins/Sunrise = 6:55 / 7:20 AM
Sunset / Twilight Ends = 5:32 / 5:58 PM

ride as a semi group, which means you ride your pace and we will regroup at the
trailheads or major intersection in the trails.
Saturday – 8:00 AM @ the Lodge – 40 miles = There
maybe a small group due to the COLD weather forecast of HIGH Winds & Wind
Chill.
There are Two Groups on

The
BFSC splits into 2 groups base on Ride Pace either at the PV Bridge
Or
at the Traffic Light at Crosswater Parkway & Old 210
Group
1 = Ride Pace 25+ MPH with max speed 30+
Group 2 = Ride Pace 19 – 25 MPH

We will regroup when necessary for those losing contact with the group.
We have been trying to keep everyone together back to the Palm Valley Bridge, so that everyone finishes the ride together.
