Sunday's Lodge Group bike ride on December 26 will be the traditional Saturday's Lodge ride.

It is THAT time of year for another RENEGADE Christmas Party. Some of us will start out with the regular Renegade Ride at 6 pm. For the regular, ride meet at the tennis courts 16th S St. Jax Bch. This will be an abbreviated ride for those who will attend the get-together. We will meet at 8 pm. To start the festivities at RAGTIME Rest. Atlantic Blvd. and 1st. st. Atl. Bch.

Lodge Group Bike Ride Schedule - December 18 & 19
Looks like the weather has warmed up just long enough for our weekend bike rides. Saturday rain forecast is still unpredictable until Saturday morning. The last forecast has scattered rain showers Friday afternoon and early evening, then a more heavier steady rain starting early afternoon on Saturday. If this holds true then we maybe able to ride the Saturday Lodge Group ride. Sunday forecast is dry and sunny, with the next cold front arriving.

This weekend forecast is for a warm up before the next cold front comes through on Sunday afternoon. Saturday morning temperature forecast at ride time is 55 F and Sunday is also 54 F but a chance of rain. The rain may start Sunday morning or come in after lunch...it is too early to tell.

Rob Huish Memorial Bike Ride - December 9, 2010 - 7:00 PM
Memorial Bike Ride to remember and celebrate the life of Rob Huish.
Lt. Robert Huish, 26 years old, passed away on December 3, 2010 after a hit-and-run accident in Atlantic Beach on November 28. Rob, a Navy pilot attached to the HSL-44 Swamp Foxes, recently returned from deployment on July 17.
The Memorial Ride will start at 7:00 pm in the roundabout at end of Atlantic Blvd. (between One Ocean and The Seahorse at the Christmas tree). The ride route will be three loops from the front of Pete’s Bar, Neptune Beach to the corner of East Coast & Third Street, Atlantic Beach.
A moment of silence will be observed at the roundabout at end of the third loop (approximately 7:30 pm).
Please join us (with your bike lights and safety gear), and help to spread the word to friends and community members.

Sunday Mountain Bike Ride at Hanna Park - 9:30 AM
There will be a Mountain Bike ride group at Hanna Park on Sunday.
Plan on meeting at the front parking lot at 9:30 AM.
This will be a group ride were we will regroup at the trail head.
There will also be the regular Sunday road bike ride at the Lodge at 8:00.

The Beaches Lodge bike kits have arrived! Walter Campbell will be contacting you, to make arrangements to deliver your bike kit.
Get your knickers, shoe booties, gloves, jackets, and hats out, it is going to be cold this weekend at the beach for the morning Lodge rides, but warming up quickly.
Forecasted temperature for Saturday morning at 8:00 is mid 40's and low 50's by 9:00.
