Preliminary plans are now being made for a very special KONA Human Performance Hawaiian cycling vacation in May to the island of Maui. Tentative dates are May 16-23. The primary cycling goal is to climb Mt. Haleakala, a 38 mile, 10,000 foot ascent to Maui's most famous volcano. (Also see RIDE). We will also take advantage of many other cycling routes around the island. In addition, one morning, we will do the Sunrise Tour, a descend of Mt. Haleakala to view a spectacular sunrise.
We will rent a home while visiting the island. Details regarding out accommodations are presently being established. We have a maximum availability for 10 guests. There are 4 spots remaining.
If you are interested in this once-of-a-lifetime adventure, please contact us immediately for more details.
Aloha.

The weather forecast for this weekend is cold again.
There will be a group meeting to ride mountain bikes at Hanna Park on Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 AM. Meet in the front parking lot. There will be all skill level of riders. Come out and try your mountain bike out. We will regroup at the trail head/intersections so no one is left alone.
Some mountain bikers may show up a past 9:00 AM. We generally ride the south loop first and then ride the north loop. If you are interested try to meet up on one of these loops.

We had about 12 riders turn up this morning for lots of thrills for most and lots of spills for some. Meet up at the front parking lot at 9:00 am.
