Beaches Lodge Ride Schedule - June 11 & 12 - Beaches Fine Arts Triathlon on Saturday - Lodge Ride Rerouted

The Beaches Fine Arts 2nd Triathlon is 7:00 AM Saturday, June 11 at Mickler's Beach Access. The Lodge Ride Saturday ride is rerouted North to Solona Road/Rosco Blvd to the PV Bridge.

This will be a more interactive way for the Beaches Lodge Riders to communicate and review updates through their Facebook News Feeds. Please post your ride photo or other comments on the Beaches Lodge Ride Facebook page.

The 2011 Beaches Lodge Kit has been designed and is ready to be ordered - Deadline is June 30th. Let Walter Campbell know if you want to order a BLR kit at cyclecamp@comcast.net

We have a fit kit and you have an opportunity this Sunday, June 11 at 4:00 PM to try them on at David Burbridge home and next Saturday, June 18 in South Jax Beach at Sean and Stephanie Crichton's house (the one with the roadside water cooler). Please help us spread the word about the sample fittings!!

Saturday – 8:00 AM @ the Lodge – 35 to 40 miles = Alternate route to the Palm Valley Bridge due to the Beaches Fine Arts Triathlon - See Above.
Group AA = 25+ MPH
Group A = 19 – 25 MPH

Group AA will make Right at Crosswater Parkway.
Group A will make a Left at Crosswater Parkway

Alternate Route: The Lodge Group bike ride route will leave the Lodge @ 8:00 AM and ride north on PVB to west/left onto Solana Road crossing over A1A and ride south on Roscoe Blvd to the Palm Valley Bridge and then begin the traditional Saturday bike ride route. In the past, by the time we arrive at the bridge the bike portion of the Triathlon has been completed. We will return by Mickler's Road to PVB. Watch for heavy traffic around the Triathlon.

Sunday – 8:00 AM@ the Lodge – 40 - 60 miles
Group Ride Ride Pace = 19 – 22 MPH.
Remember this is a GROUP ride.
We will regroup when necessary for those loosing contact with the group.
We have been trying to keep everyone together back to the Palm Valley Bridge and over the PV Bridge back home. So that everyone finishes the ride together.
