BFSC Ride Schedule - Sept 22 & 23 - Reorder Bike Kits have Arrived -Bike Road & TT Race Saturday in Nocatee BFSC Ride Course Modified.


The 2012 reorder BFSC Bike Kits have arrived. You can pick up your kit on Monday, September 24 at Open Road Beach store at 4:00 PM till & 7:00 PM.

Also if you order a kit in the first order, you are receiving FREE Arm Warmers & Socks.

Stop By Open Road Beach Store on Monday to pick up your Socks and Arm Warmers also.

It’s VeloBrew Race Weekend. Saturday’s road & TT racecourse will be in Nocatee using a portion of BFSC traditional Saturday ride course. The road race first wave leaves at 7:30 AM and the second wave leaves at 9:30 AM.

The BFSC ride course has been modified for this Saturday so we will not be on the same course as the RACE. See below in the ride description for BFSC ride course.

The Beaches Weekend weather forecast at Saturday’s start time is 74 F, 5 mph NNW wind, and Cloudy with 20% chance of rain. On Sunday the forecast at the start time is Partly Sunny at 74 F, 5 mph WNW wind.

Saturday – 8:00 AM @ the Lodge – 40 miles =
Due to the VeloBrew race in Nocatee Saturday we will modify our ride route. The Race Course will ride the inside loop. Start/Finish line is at the Publix entrance on Spoke 2. They will ride up Spoke 2 and come back down Spoke 1 to Roundabout and back Spoke 2.

The BFSC Ride Route for Saturday is the outside loop the opposite direction as the Race Course.
At the Traffic Light at Crosswater Parkway & Old 210, Right Turn on Spoke 1.
Continue out Spoke 1 (NO UTURN) under Parkway to Spoke 2.
Left onto Spoke 2 and Down Spoke 2 to Roundabout LEFT Turn. We made decide to complete Spoke 3 before returning to Spoke 1. (Depending on Traffic.

We will make 3 Outside Loops before return back onto Nocatee Parkway heading back to the beach.
Watch OUT for Heavier Traffic and Pedestrian Traffic around racecourse

  
Sunday - 8:00 AM Road Ride Leaving from the Lodge – 50 - 65 miles
Group Ride Ride Pace = 19 – 22 MPH.
Remember this is a GROUP ride. This means a NO drop Ride and we all stop for Flats/Mechanical issues.
We will regroup when necessary for those losing contact with the group.
We have been trying to keep everyone together back to the Palm Valley Bridge,
 so that everyone finishes the ride together.

ALL RIDE MILEAGE IS BASED on from the starting location: The Lodge and back to The Lodge
