Beaches First Street Cycling Bike Donation to B.E.A.M. Update 12/7/2012
Thank you to all the BFSC riders who have donated to our
Christmas charity project to donate kids’ bicycles to our local needy family
organization called B.E.A.M.
If you would still like to donate, bring your checks or cash
to Saturday or Sunday’s bike ride. Give to Walter or Robert.
Make checks payable to: Beaches First Street Cycling
We have been very successful in raising a little over $1800
dollars, which will allow us to purchase approximately 20 kids’ bikes.
Lee Ann Buck was able to secure through LandStar 30 FREE
kids’ helmets from FLDOT Kids’ Helmet program.
Chris Cusimano was able to work with Champion Cycling to
purchase 25 combination locks for the bikes.
Now it time to build up the bikes so we can donate to
B.E.A.M. by Monday, December 17.
Bike Building Party – Pizza and Beer & Soft Drinks will
be provided

We will build up bikes in the Garage and driveway.
