BFSC Ride Schedule February 16 & 17 - Optional MTB at 8:30 and Road Ride Start Time at 9:00

Sunday Morning Temperature Forecast is 36 to 40 F from 7:00 to 9:00 AM.

Due to Cold Temp Forecast there will be an Optional Mountain Bike Ride Sunday at Hanna Park at 8:30 AM

Sunday Road Ride Start time is 9:00 AM

The First Annual BFSC Beaches Fat Tire Ride has been postponed from this Sunday due to no responses. We will try to reschedule when the temperature and low tide is more favorable.

Good Luck to our BFSC team members who are running Sunday the Breast Cancer 1/2 and Full Marathon. The Route will leave Hwy 210 from the PGA, North up A1A, Right onto Corona Road, Left North on PVB to 16th Ave South onto the beach. They finish at Mayo. Be aware of your bike route South maybe blocked, look for detours through the Neighborhood.

Blood Sweat & Gears – Saturday, June 22 – Boone NC – 100/50 mile Road Ride – 10,000 FT of Climbing – Registration opens Friday @ 12:01 AM February 1. FULL

Six & Three Gap – Sunday, September 29 – Dahlonega GA – 100 mile Road Ride – 10,000 + FT of climbing.

Beaches First Street Cycling’s Fall Weekly Ride Schedule

Tuesday Night Guana – 6:00 PM – Meet under Palm Valley 210 Bridge
We are riding a variety of bikes: mountain, urban assault and cyclocross bikes.
Lights are required. This is an out and back 20+ miles course, so if you get dropped, you will be picked back up on the faster group’s return.

Tuesday/Thursday 6:30 AM morning rides from the PV Inn & ClubContinue to check this BFSC Blog and Facebook page for time changes as sunrise continues to be later rising.

Tuesday/Thursday 9:00 AM morning ride leaving from the Lodge: This is a group ride with a ride pace of 19/24 MPH. There are 2 routes – Tuesday is Nocatee loops and Thursday is down A1A to Vilano Bridge and back. Both routes are approximately 50 miles.

Sunset / Twilight Ends = 6:17 / 6:41 PM

Beaches Weekend Weather Forecast (observed at Mayport Naval Air Station)

The Beaches Weekend weather forecast at Saturday’s 8:00 AM start time is 49 to 54 F, 7 mph WNW wind, and Partly Sunny, Rain forecast for late morning or early afternoon. On Sunday the forecast is very COLD at 8:00/9:00 start time temperature are forecast to be 35 to 40 F and Partly Sunny with 15 mph NW wind.

Saturday – 8:00 AM @ the Lodge – 40 miles =
There are Two Groups on Saturday

The BFSC splits into 2 groups base on Ride Pace either at the PV Bridge
Or at the Traffic Light at Crosswater Parkway & Old 210
Group 1 = Ride Pace 25+ MPH with max speed 30+
Group 2 = Ride Pace 19 – 25 MPH

Group 1 will make Right at Crosswater Parkway. 
Group 2 will make a Left at Crosswater Parkway

Sunday Optional Mountain Bike Ride @ 8:30 AM
Sunday – 8:30 AM @ Hanna Park
Meet in the Front Parking Lot
$1.00 Entrance Fee

We ride as a semi group, which means you ride your pace and we will regroup at the trailheads or major intersection in the trails.

Sunday - 9:00 AM Road Ride Leaving from the Lodge – 50 - 65 miles
Group Ride - Ride Pace = 19 – 22 MPH.
Remember this is a GROUP ride. This means a NO drop Ride and we all stop for Flats/Mechanical issues.
We will regroup when necessary for those losing contact with the group.
We have been trying to keep everyone together back to the Palm Valley Bridge,
 so that everyone finishes the ride together.

ALL RIDE MILEAGE IS BASED on from the starting location: The Lodge and back to The Lodge
