BFSC 4th of July Weekend Ride Schedule - Sunday Ride to Amelia Island

With the 4th of July holiday, we have a 4 days weekend. 

BFSC is planning 4 days of organized rides.

Beaches First Street Cycling 4th of July Weekend Ride Schedule

Thursday July 4th - 8:00 AM Road Ride = 35/40 Miles
Leaving from the County Line
NO Thursday Night 6:30 PM Ride

Two Groups - Group 1 (Fast Race Group) and Group 2 (19 - 24 MPH Pace)

Group 1 will follow the Thursday Night Nocatee Route.
Right onto San Juan warm up through the PV Neighborhood.
At the Lodge begin Race Speed Pace.

Group 2 will go straight down PVB. 

Both Group will go right from old 210 onto Spoke 1
Only One U-Turns On This Route @ End of Spoke 3
Continue out Spoke 1 to Left turn onto Old 210 just before US1/Gate.
Right turn onto Spoke 2.
Right turn onto Spoke 3. Make U Turn
Left turn at Nocatee Roundabout back up Spoke 2.
Right Turn onto Spoke 1. 
Left turn onto Old 210 back to PV Bridge and Home.

Group 2 will follow a slightly modified route after Spoke 1.

Friday - 8:00 AM Road Ride Leaving from the Lodge – 40 - 55 miles
Group Ride - Ride Pace = 19 – 22 MPH.
Remember this is a GROUP ride. 
This means a NO drop Ride and we all stop for Flats/Mechanical issues.
We will regroup when necessary for those losing contact with the group.
We have been trying to keep everyone together back to the Palm Valley Bridge,
 so that everyone finishes the ride together.

Saturday – 8:00 AM @ the Lodge – 40 miles =
There are Two Groups on Saturday 
The Second Group is reforming for a slower pace base building ride.

The BFSC splits into 2 groups base on Ride Pace @ A1A.
Group 1 = Ride Pace 25+ MPH with max speed 30+
Group 2 = Ride Pace 18 – 22 MPH

Group 1 will make Right at Crosswater Parkway. 
Group 2 will make a Left at Crosswater Parkway.
Exit Nocatee via Old Palm Valley Road!!

Sunday - 7:30 AM at the Lodge - Ride to Amelia Island 

Wear your Beaches First Street Cycling Ride Kit
70 miles round trip from the Lodge, Approximately - 50/55 miles from Rag Time. 
We will ride North on PVB, Right onto Duval Dr, right on First Street, and left on Plaza to A1A to the Ferry. 
We will pass Rag Time in Atlantic Beach around 8:00 AM.
Catch the 8:30 Ferry - $1.00 Each Way. 
We will catch the returning 10:45 AM Ferry. 
This is a group ride; we try to keep the group together. 
Ride Pace = 19 – 22 MPH

ALL RIDE MILEAGE IS BASED on from the starting location: The Lodge and back to The Lodge
